Collaboration.
THHT is dedicated to collaborating with both local and national organizations and institutions. Explore some of our recent partnerships and collaborations below.
THHT x Boston Arts Academy
THHT teamed up with Boston Arts Academy to provide a week long curriculum designed to empower young people to create and collaborate on music in a professional full scale recording studio. They left with one incredible EP and an experience they won’t soon forget.
THHT x Putnam Ave Upper School
The Hip Hop Transformation curriculum has been an access point to teens and young adults primarily, but as of 2022, THHT and Putnam Ave Upper School (PAUS) have partnered together to provide middle schoolers with a chance to explore their creativity and collaboration during their school day.
THHT x The Record Co.
The Hip Hop Transformation is made possible through our staff’s expertise as well as the leadership of our young people, but our program is only as impactful as the space we utilize. The Record Co. has been pivotal in allowing our young people to explore their wildest creative dreams in a safe and professional music studio.
THHT x Cambridge Public Library
(The Hive)
To run a successful music program, sometimes you have to empower your students to think outside of the box… Cambridge Public Library and their Hive studio space has been the perfect place for our teens to explore their creative talents outside of just music. With access to video production equipment and studio spaces, vinyl cutting machines, and podcast recording rooms, The Hive has allowed us to create an even more dynamic approach for our music program.
THHT x Boston Public Library
We had the privilege of designing and hosting a state wide teen music making competition in collaboration with Boston Public Library and with support from a number of other local non profits.
